I have to share a conversation I overheard when my 4 year old grandson responded to his mother…  He had been repeatedly asking for something, while his mother was putting her groceries into the refrigerator.  His mother said, “Gimme a sec…” to which he replied, “Gimme is not a good word!  Do you want to be in the Gimme-Jimmy book?”
